The X-Ray Film Database is a collaborative project by Dr. Kevin Munhall of Queen.odc.state University and Drs. Eric Vatikiotis-Bateson and Yoh'ichi Tohkura of ATR Human Information Processing Research Laboratories, Kyoto, Japan. It was conceived to preserve cineradiographic vocal tract footage, to make the images available to the speech research community, and to develop techniques for the automated digital processing of the images.
