We are an interdisciplinary association of people with a common interest in technology and disability.Our purpose is to improve the potential of people with disabilities to achieve their goals through the use of technology.We serve that purpose by promoting research, development, education, advocacy and provision of technology; and by supporting the people engaged in these activities.

Mission is to make high-quality assistive technology products available to schools, clinicians, and parents at low prices while providing excellent service and support .

The AAC-RERC conducts a comprehensive program of research, development, training, and dissemination activities that address the NIDRR priorities and seek to improve technologies for individuals who rely on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) technologies. The mission of the AAC-RERC is to assist people who rely on augmentative and alternative communication to achieve their goals by advancing and promoting AAC technologies and supporting the individuals who use, manufacture, and recommend them.

The AAC Institute is a not-for-profit charitable organization dedicated to the most effective communication for people who rely on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
