Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders and lots of other students with behavior or communication challenges tend to be visual learners. They understand what they see better than what they hear. Therefore, they benefit significantly from the use of Visual Strategies.

What sets Attainment apart from other companies is how we approach the field of special needs. Not only do we produce materials for special needs, but we employ people with disabilities. Of the in-house employees three have developmental disabilities. Also many of the wooden pieces and wooden jigs that are used in our pre-voc or work activities are manufactured by the Hodan Center which employs individuals with disabilities in a Community Rehabilitation Program.
